Hear me cry, my suicidal angel
Why are you so deaf to me?
I now invoke you
Since you were born
You're condemned to live
A life you've never asked for
Everyday you wake up
And ask yourself
“Why am I still here?"
You just want to be alone
With the ones with white wings
So spread your madness
Open your veins
You're not weak
As the ones who still breathe
Maybe the razorblade
Could seem cold
But I swear to you
It’s still hotter
Than the people around us
Hear me mourn, my suicidal angel
I know you understand
The way I feel right now
Don't suffer for life
Nobody forces you to do that
You should not think you're weak
Thinking about your own suicide
‘Cause all of us have thoughts
About her, Death
She, the wonderful
Pale queen of oblivion
Cold eyed and white winged
Will bring you
To the eternal void
No more pain
And no more bitter taste
Hear me die, my suicidal angel
I'm finally free from life
I now can cry blood
From my open veins
Be brave,
Be a rebel,
Be your own god
You are the one
Who can decide
To live or to die, now
Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass).
Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit
Crushing blackened doom from this German band that counterbalances blinding fury with moments of surprising, melancholy melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2023
Tokyo band contrast black metal's brutal complexity with shoegaze's abyssal grandeur, resulting in an LP that feels crushing, yet infinite. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2022
Atmospheric Black Metal from the heart of Siberia. Grima is a band that paints one hell of a picture with their music. Intense shrieking vocals echo behind such awesome instrumentals.
Leaves you feeling the bitter cold winds of a desolate snowscape. Abyssius Murkraken
